So what exactly is the Piano For All system?
Piano For All is a piano learning system that covers many styles of playing piano such as Blues, Ballads, Classics etc.. The course is delivered in Ebook format and has audio and video embedded in them so that at key points you can hear or see a demonstration.. The videos are particularly good as Robin talks you through and then plays in front of you the section he is teaching. Just like having a piano teacher with you.
There is also the option to pay a little more and get the complete course on a DVD-ROM in addition to the instantly downloadable files. This may be helpful to you if you do not wish to spend the time needed to download the course (it is a large course). Alternatively, you could order the DVD-ROM version and download the first couple of Ebooks, so that you can make a start learning piano while you wait for the DVD-ROM to arrive.
Each Ebook is nicely produced and is made up of simple steps to build your piano skills. The books contain lots of diagrams to help you including diagrams of piano keys with coloured dots to show which notes to play as well as traditional music notation. The key thing about this course though is that I have been able to get results fast, within a day or two I could play some really nice sounding piano. It is this aspect of the course that excites me and has driven me on to learn more.
Take a look at the video below to see the sort of music you could be playing in just a few short weeks of working through this course….
That’s amazing isn’t it?

Is the Piano For All course right for you?
Most traditional music training starts with theory and learning to read standard music notation. This is followed by learning scales and then simple music using standard sheet music. The Piano For All course starts you playing straight away using keyboard diagrams and supporting audio and video files.
This doesn’t mean you won’t learn to read standard music notation, but instead, you learn the standard notation as you go along. In this way you start playing decent sounding piano quickly.
Think of it this way. When you were a child, you learned to speak first, then learned the alphabet and how to read. It’s the same with this course. You learn to play music first, then learn to read music.

The approach used by Piano For All is to teach you about chords and chord progressions then, as you learn this, you can break the chords up and play notes individually turning the sound into a ballad style. There is a lovely impressive sounding piece of music Robin calls the Broken Chord Ballad that you’ll learn to play about a third through the first book. By building on this foundation, your abilities grow as you progress through the course.
With the exception of those who have ambitions to be a concert pianist and are looking for a traditional and classical approach to learning piano, Piano For All will suit anyone wanting to learn piano. Of course this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to play classical music. There is a book in the series dedicated to playing classical music. The great thing about this course is the speed with which you can begin to play and sound quite accomplished. Your friends and family will be amazed at your playing.
What are the Bad things about Piano For All?
I really can’t think of anything to put in this section. The course has lived up to my expectations and more.
When I first reviewed this course, the course was provided in PDF format and at that time the only real problem I found was that one of the PDF audio links failed to play. I contacted Robin about it and got a quick response thanking me for pointing out the issue and that he would sort it out. I was very pleased with the quick response I got from Robin. Shows he does provide good support.
The only other point I would make is that if you’re using a desktop PC it may be a little inconvenient to use as your desktop may not be located near your piano. When I started my desktop PC wasn’t too far away from my piano, so I was able to cope. Now I have bought a second hand Ipad and downloaded the course books onto that which works well. I’ve even got some of the course downloaded onto my Iphone! I still use the Desktop version of the course sometimes to study away from the piano.
What are the Good things about Piano For All?
The course covers a wide range of music styles and gives you a strong foundation on which to build. You can take your music in whatever direction you like.
The Piano For All site provides a contact form, so you can contact Robin with questions if you want to. He actively likes to hear from his students and provides a fast personal response.
You can quickly learn to play some nice sounding piano. This is the big one for me. It’s what keeps me going and keen to learn more. You don’t have to wait weeks to start getting some satisfying results.
The Piano For All course is suitable for piano, digital piano or keyboard, and can be downloaded to Desktop PC, Android devices, MAC, Ipad, and Iphone.
The course is extremely good value for money, and at the current price I think it’s an absolute bargain.

Hi Robin, A belated note to say a very big thank you for putting together such an interesting, motivating, straightforward approach to piano playing! I absolutely love the techniques, I’m playing everything now and it’s so exciting!!! I’m still only on Book 1 and I’ve learned so much already, I can’t imagine what you have in store for us in the other books.
Jane Grey, London, UK
It is simple, straight forward yet very effective. It makes the complex understandable and for those of us who don’t want to master music theory, it gets us playing quite well in a short time. I can’t say enough good about your program. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
Ed Doran, Muskogee, OK
Enjoying the piano like I’ve never – bless you for your insight into teaching – it works!! Please accept my highest respect for possibly the best tutorial of all time – I am 74 and have seen a few. You have made me a happy slave to my keyboard and sound!
Derek, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, England, UK
Robin, Thank you so much for this course. I have wanted to learn to play my favorite instrument as long as I can remember. Now that I’m an adult, I am so glad to not have to learn from the child books. Already being able to play popular songs just amazes me! I am having so much fun. Thanks again,
